TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you ("the Client") and PICKPOINT TRAVEL about the booking and delivery of private shore excursions, package tours including hotels, transfers, domestic flights, and any other travel-related services provided by us.
By booking or participating in any of our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
1.1. Reservation Process : All bookings must be made directly through our website, email, or authorized travel consultants. Bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email upon receipt of payment.
1.2. Deposit and Final Payment: A payment deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount varies depending on the selected package tour and will be notified at the time of your booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the start of the tour. Full payment must be made if the reservation is made less than 10 days before the arrival date.
1.3. Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer or credit/debit card. All prices are listed in US dollars. Shore excursion payments can be made in cash at the end of the tour.
1.4. Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once we have received the required payment and you have received a written confirmation from us.
2. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
2.1. Client-Initiated Cancellations
If you choose to cancel your booking, the following cancellation policy applies:
- More than 30 days before departure: You will receive a refund after deducting any non-refundable costs already incurred (such as hotel or flight bookings).
- 29 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged. The remaining 50% will be refunded.
- 14 to 7 days before departure: 70% of the total tour cost will be charged. The remaining 30% will be refunded.
- 6 days or fewer before departure: No refund.
2.2. No-shows and Early Departures
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or any unused tour portion due to early departure, regardless of the reason.
2.3. Provider-Initiated Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your reservation (for example, because of natural disasters, a lack of participants, or unanticipated operational difficulties), you will receive a complete refund or the choice to reschedule for a different day or experience.
3. CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
3.1. Client-Requested Changes
All requests to modify booking details—such as travel dates, number of participants, or included services—must be submitted in writing. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3.2. Provider Modifications
We reserve the right to make minor changes to the itinerary, accommodation, or transport arrangements if required due to operational reasons or supplier issues. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide suitable alternatives.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CLIENT
4.1. Travel Documentation
Obtaining the required visas and any other required travel documentation and ensuring these are complete and correct is the responsibility of each participant. Customers are responsible for providing accurate international flight information for proper meeting arrangements.
4.2. Physical Ability
It is your responsibility to assess your suitability for the tour, including physical fitness and medical conditions. Some tours may involve walking, hiking, or other physical activities.
5. LIABILITY AND LIMITATION
5.1. Third-Party Services
We act as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, transport companies). We accept no responsibility for the actions or negligence of these providers.
5.2. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, wars, pandemics, or government restrictions.
5.3. Assumption of Risk
Participation in tours involves certain inherent risks. By booking, you accept all risks associated with travel and agree not to hold us responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or expense resulting from your participation.
6. INSURANCE
6.1. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost luggage, personal liability, and other unexpected events.
